How do I know the vehicle condition?

Here at TOW AUCTIONS we have expectations of accurate descriptions of all vehicles listed by the selling facilities as far as they know. What this means is that through pictures and description here on TOW AUCTIONS you will have a very good representation of the vehicle condition. TOW AUCTIONS expects that all seller facilities when listing their vehicles for auction give only descriptions of the known factors of the vehicle.

NOTE: Please as a bidder/member it is important that you please do not read into the vehicle condition unless directly described on the vehicle listing page. Vehicles have hundreds of moving parts and being optimistic in the vehicle you are bidding on is positive but may not be realistic. Most used cars will need some level of TLC. Only NEW VEHICLES have no TLC needed. This translates that sometimes there are disappointments but seller facilities have no intention of misrepresentation to sell vehicles. This is not the norm. TOW AUCTIONS has a zero policy to known misrepresentation and take appropriate actions to secure the purchase of all bidder/members.

Does the vehicle start?

This is a difficult area of representation. In the description the bidder/member that the vehicle starts and drives, this means that it will start on its own and go into gear and move an inch or two. Please realize that this does not characterize the vehicle as a good dependable car. Unless you see in the description of the vehicle listing page that this vehicle has been road driven and runs and drives good do not assume that this is a running daily driver with no TLC needed. Sometimes a Car is listed vehicle will start when jumped due to a dead or bad battery. We at TOW AUCTIONS actually believe that most vehicles purchased here should be towed to the buyers residence and or shop of choice. The logic is even the best of cars that sit for a time like many of these do in storage are in need of some types of attention.

Does the vehicle have keys?

If the vehicle has a key it is explicitly told in the information of the Vehicle Listing Details Page. If it does not then they are not coming with the sale of the vehicle.

NOTE: No keys many times will make the moving of the vehicle very difficult and will have no starting and running capabilities. Most times the securing of the keys and the cost will be that of the buyer/ high bidder/member with little assistance if any from the Selling Facility. Please keep this in mind as a vehicle with no keys is more difficult to pick up and/or ship if at all with no keys.

What happens if additional damage cosmetic or mechanical is not shown in the photos or description?

All vehicles displayed on our website are sold “as-is where is”. It is important to understand that the photos shown on the website do not show the undercarriage or other latent defects. It is important to expect that used vehicles sold here at TOW AUCTIONS very likely may have addition unforeseen damage. This is normal for this kind of an auction and why most buyer/member/high bidder gets a great deal.

NOTE: Please realize that the best candidate/s to win these types of vehicles either are familiar with the mechanics of vehicles and/or have good affordable mechanical resources available to you.

Do you provide estimates on repair costs prior to the auction?

Nor should you feel comfortable with repair costs if given unless they are estimated by an entity that you know or do business with. How long will it take to receive my ownership documents?
