HOW IT WORKS

#1 SELLER FACILITY/MEMBER

  1. The licensed company comes to the website and registers. There is no charge to be a member of TOW AUCTIONS as a seller.
  2. This company then uses the online system after signing in and lists their vehicles within the terms and conditions of TOW AUCTIONS.
  3. Should the listed vehicle sell then you will contact the high bidder, or they will contact the seller facility and pay for the vehicle and arrangements are made for pick up or shipping. At this time arrangements for acceptance of ownership DOCS are agreed upon.
  4. The seller facility welcomes the buyer/bidder/member and allows pickup as agreed from their facility and the sale is consummated. The seller is never charged a fee of any kind from TOW AUCTIONS.

#2 BUYER/BIDDER/MEMBER

  1. The private person or buying person for a company comes to the website and registers and through the hi bid system.
  2. This buyer/bidder/member then after signing in views the auctions offered for sale.
  3. Then the buyer/bidder/member has the option to bid on the vehicles within the terms and conditions of the website. Please realize that should you bid on more than one auction and win more than one auction the buyer/bidder/member is required to pay for all vehicles. Failure to do so will be the banning of any buyer/bidder/member and all future auctions indefinitely.
  4. The buyer/bidder/member will have two payments to make upon successful bid of a vehicle here on TOW AUCTIONS. #1 Tow Auctions buyers fee which will be initiated by TOW AUCTIONS and #2 contacts the specific SELLER FACILITY and pay the winning bid and the seller facility fees.
  5. When contacting the seller facility and paying for the vehicle it is a good idea that the buyer/bidder/member makes arrangements for the pick-up, towing or shipping of the vehicle(s) and the acceptance of the vehicle ownership DOCS.
  6. In case of a tie bid, Tow Auctions reserves the right to reopen the bid between those two bidders in necessary. Tow Auctions reserves the right to revoke any bid card at any time. Anyone bidding for an account other than his or her own must obtain a separate bid number for that account. The bidder offering the highest bid accepted by the Tow Auctions shall be the “Purchaser” of the lot being sold and may not retract his bid. Purchaser will not be entitled to any adjustment, allowance, rescission, or damages or any other remedy regarding the condition of any item purchased.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PAYMENT TERMS

  • TOW AUCTIONS will charge the buyer’s credit card only the buyers commission typically same business day as the buyer has won the auction. These fees are listed clearly and an invoice is also sent to the email of record. Any problems with these transactions may result in an additional transactional fee and possibly limit your bidding privileges and perhaps banning of the buyer indefinitely.
  • Sellers require full payment and typical time limit to pay is within three (3) days of the end of the auction. Each authorized seller has their own terms and conditions which is further outlined on their own auction area of this website. There are no extensions available to the buyer. The seller bids, wins the bids and pays for the auctions won.
  • Payment in full is due to the selling facility and ID of the buyer or authorized pick up entity required to release any vehicle at seller facility.
  • Payment for domestic buyers may be accepted but not guaranteed by cash, check (accompanied by Bank Letter of Guarantee), cashier’s check, VISA, MC, Discover, or wire transfer. Please contact Seller Facility and inquire before final bidding occurs on any auction. Most sellers’ facilities have very strict payment policies and it is the buyers responsibility to look into what the Sellers Facilities payment policies with a quick look at the terms and conditions of the company at the auction area of this website or quick content to the seller directly.
    Payment for non-present international buyers: wire transfer only. (at Sellers Discretion)
  • All auctions are subject to the TOW AUCTION fee as follows and has NOTHING to do with the fees and charges at the SELLER FACILITY which is a separate transaction, this amount will be charged to the sellers’ credit card on file same business day as and needs to be paid upon presentation of amount due.
  • Buyer pays Tow Auctions, (Domain Names Inc. Credit Card Statement) on each separate single auction/vehicle won.
    BUYERS FEE SCHEDULE PER VEHICLE
    $0.01 – $1500.                         $ 85.
    $1500.01 – $2500.                  $ 99.
    $2500.01 – $250,000.            $125.
  • Vehicles not paid for in full and picked up within THREE (3)  to SEVEN (7) days (depends on selling facility please check terms and conditions of each seller) of end of auction may be subject to a per day penalty of the seller facility in storage fees, so even if you pay the seller facility the costs of the vehicle the buyer is also obligated to pick up the vehicle within the allotted time frame, some sellers do not allow additional time for pick up and may charge a daily storage fee. (storage fees are not negotiable and must be paid prior to release of vehicle, buyers need to take the time and understand each seller facilty terms and conditions). Many sellers request that the buyers buying privileges be suspended and their auctions relisted if their terms and conditions of their sale are not met in full. Tow Auctions has a NO-TOLERANCE policy regarding buyers that do not respect the sellers facilities terms and conditions.
  • Vehicles not paid for and picked up within the sellers’ facility terms and conditions will result in buyer’s privileges revoked on TOW AUCTIONS plus the vehicle may be re-listed by the selling facility. The buyer then will forfeit all rights and connections to the vehicle. This is a business and professionalism are required from all buyers. Bidding and winning and no pay or pickup as outlined by the terms and conditions will not be tolerated.
  • All risk transfers to the buyer at the end of auction. Tow Auctions suggest that all buyers obtain applicable insurance coverage for the item as may be required by law at a minimum.

DISCLAIMER

The vehicles and auctions that are listed on TOW AUCTIONS are not owned by TOW AUCTIONS but by listing SELLER FACILITIES! Therefore, we do not have ANY information regarding the history or condition of the vehicle other than what the SELLER FACILITY lists. TOW AUCTIONS do not perform any physical or mechanical inspections on any vehicle listed on its website/s. No vehicles are test driven by TOW AUCTIONS and cannot vouch for any drivability or condition of the motor or transmission and can only realize what is evident from what the SELLER FACILITIES describe the vehicle condition to be. TOW AUCTIONS only list the information supplied by the seller facility and describe what is evident as they see it at time of their own inspection. There may be other problems with the vehicle which are not apparent, visible or known plus the SELLER FACILITY may not know. TOW AUCTIONS is not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete descriptions of the vehicle. We make every effort to be responsible, please understand that TOW AUCTIONS has a ZERO TOLERANCE on continued misrepresentations of a SELLER FACILTY. Once continued misrepresentation has been established that SELLER FACILITY will no longer be listing on TOW AUCTIONS to protect the buyer/s. The buyer has every opportunity with most seller facilities to inspect and is encouraged to do so if able the vehicle PRIOR to bidding. No inspections of the vehicle prior to bidding will force the BUYER to make their bidding decisions on the information supplied, vehicles and their own talents and bid at your own risk. Every vehicle is sold in “as is” and “where is” condition. The vehicle must be paid for and picked up within the seller facility and TOW AUCTIONS terms and conditions and there is NO REFUND and NO RECOURSE. Most sellers have a designated day to view the vehicles, however, not viewing the vehicle before the auction does not mean you can view the vehicle at pickup. You win the auction you own the vehicle you pick up the vehicle.

PAYMENT TYPES

TOW AUCTIONS do accept the following:

NO Refund and NO Warranty Policy, EVEN if you do not follow through with payment of the Vehicle/s you have won at the seller facility and may become banned indefinitely, all TOW AUCTIONS fees are final.

UNDERSTANDING AS IS

All cars are sold in AS IS and WHERE IS condition with all faults – known and unknown described or not described.  Should there be ANY mechanical issues discovered after the purchase of the vehicle there will be no recourse offered by the SELLER FACILITY or TOW AUCTIONS, THIS INCLUDES any TITLE and REGISTRATION issues that may occur.  The Buyer will be 100% responsible for the condition of the vehicle.  SELLER FACILITY makes NO warranties as to the condition of any vehicle.  Descriptions and photos contained herein may not be accurate and occasionally posting errors may incur. Buyer is 100% responsible for inspecting the vehicle prior to bidding when available.  NO REFUNDS will be given on any purchased vehicle under any circumstances.  ALL SALES ARE FINAL! Please understand BUYERS which seek trouble free cars typically should buy their vehicles from new car dealers with factory warranties for after the sale service. When buying vehicles here at TOW AUCTIONS buyers save hundreds if not thousands of dollars with the understanding they are purchased as is and may need attention. All cars are also sold as is and without warranty.

PICK UP & CONTACT

All winning bidders are responsible for picking up their vehicle(s) at the SELLERS FACILITY:

If you are having the vehicle shipped, then the BUYER is responsible for working with the SELLER FACILITY and their TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Each SELLER FACILITY has separate TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Please be familiar with these before bidding on a vehicle. Some seller facilities may not be able to commercially ship the vehicle and it is in this case we here at Tow Auctions are able to help facilitate that shipment, but check with us before bidding. Please understand that it is the buyer’s responsibility even if shipping the vehicle from a facility that does not offer commercial shipping that this is accomplished with the stated pick up time period, typically 3 – 7 days. After the pickup period many selling facilities may charge additional storage fees and the buyer may need approval to do so. Buyers should check with the seller’s facility regarding their policies of pick-up of the vehicle you plan on bidding on. In almost all situations, a seller’s facility is fair and equitable if there is good communication between them and the buyer.

ABOUT TOW AUCTIONS

  • Buy It Now, price, if applicable to the vehicle listed is shown in the auction clearly with a BUY IT NOW button. Not all seller facility offers buy it now options. This will end the auction and the BUYER will be the high bidder and own the vehicle listed.
  • We reserve the right to end any auction early for any reason.
  • NO TRADES – NO EXCHANGES
  • Vehicles are sold complete; these vehicles are not parted out and the BUYER must take possession/delivery of the complete vehicle shown.
  • Please understand that third party selling and transactions by the buyer to another third party person or company is prohibited. Buyer bids, wins, pays and removes the vehicle from the sellers facility before any third party sales transactions may occur.
  • DO NOT BID if you do not intend to complete the transaction. Incomplete transactions equals banning the BUYER and any future facsimiles of the buyer.
  • EMAIL or CALL US if you have any questions, preferably before you plan to bid.
  • TOW AUCTIONS reserve the right to block any bidder for any reason.
  • By placing a bid, you acknowledge that you have read and understand and agree to the terms of this listing and the separate seller’s terms and conditions.
  • All vehicles are delivered from the SELLERS FACILITY. Buyers are responsible for picking vehicles up or arranging their own shipment and working with the SELLER FACILITY and within their TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
  • All sales are FINAL!
